ABOUT LAOZI AND SOME OF MY POEMS

The following are original poems of mine. Please read these poems:

"A Sleepy Afternoon"

An afternoon without any beat nor rhyme;
An abstinence from a sweet nap.
Trying to draw out a good time,
He read one book and started to laugh!
He later vowed to take a nap.

"The Horse And The Freedom"

A horse saw dragonflies freely
Playing in the fields, smoothly
Flying without any bondage.
Into a big and wide cottage
The horse's master went. The horse swiftly
And fiercely embraced freedom.
The ropes had forgotten
To tie the horse from a tree.
A big clog of slavery
Was broken by a horse.
Such was the horse's bravery
To kiss the face of freedom.
Freedom is now smiling
At the horse's courage.
Such a horse is now truly free;
He is running and roaming easily.

"A Lesson From A Nightmare"

There, had gone astray
They who didn't sway
To analyze their maps,
Nor asked nature's guidance
To lead them in proper paths
Out of the ghastly jungle.
All they did among themselves was
To wrangle and further wrangle.
Such a thing happened in someone's nightmare.
Like joyful dreams, sometimes nightmares do come true.
Sometimes the truth knocks strangely at you.

"Right After A Thunderstorm"

The tall rains that had fallen turned into floods;
The sun escaped from the clutches of the dark clouds.
The day's darkness melted away.
The dragonflies started to play
An athletic game for a shiny day.

"Jason Walks"

Jason walks to attain
A dimension of freedom from
Being tagged as insane.
Jason walks briskly to explore
Realms he had never seen before.
He dreams while walking;
He walks while dreaming;
He meditates while walking.
He prays silently along the urban streets,
Where he exhibits daily his walking feats.

Jason is not insane.
He walks for several hours
A day on streets near his house,
Just to show his longing for a home,
Which he thought he has never gained
In his current lifetime.
A home should not be prison for his articulate mind;
It should be a free zone and an abode which is kind
To the expressons of his mind.
